Story of Partners: CRP

Writer's picture: RCOH ATLRCOH ATL

The Community Restoration Project (CRP) serves individuals and families in the metro Atlanta area to end their homelessness. CRP has a mission to provide individuals and families resources and tools to become self-sufficient and maintain productive and successful lives, which contributes to thriving communities. CRP has been an important partner for our Motel to Home program’s A Family A Day initiative, assisting several families move from motels into permanent housing.

Meet Mike, Program Manager at CRP. Having been an educator for the last 12 years, Mike sought a career shift where he could be out and about, helping folks in the community, rather than bound inside a classroom. He works primarily with the Motel to Home program, which has been a rewarding experience, because he is “constantly changing peoples’ lives.”

"We have an obligation to care. These families attend our schools, play sports with our kids, work in our community. We are one of the richest countries in the world. If everyone did something... it would contribute to the solution."
