Story of Resilience: Natisha's Story

Writer's picture: RCOH ATLRCOH ATL

Natisha, her fiancé, and daughter were living with a friend, but when they decided they could no longer stay, they found themselves in a motel. They lived in the cramped space for 2 months until they were introduced to the Motel to Home program through Frontline Housing Inc. With their new housing, Natisha’s daughter has so much more space to play, both inside her very own room and also outside in the yard. Natisha urges people to never give up, that there are always opportunities out there.

"We have an obligation to care. These families attend our schools, play sports with our kids, work in our community. We are one of the richest countries in the world. If everyone did something... it would contribute to the solution."
